Gao Feng's "Top Drive Protector" Successfully Fills Domestic Blank on Trial
Recently, the "top drive protector" independently developed by Gaofeng Company has been tested in a shale gas exploration project in Yunnan, marking another breakthrough in the field of drilling technology in my country. During this trial, the "top drive protector" had no leakage and no significant signs of wear, perfectly fitting the design expectations, and the drilling test was successful, demonstrating the strong strength of Gaofeng Company in the research and development of high-end drilling equipment. It is worth mentioning that under the harsh conditions of the air hammer drill bit struggling to break the rock, the protector effectively responded to the strong vibration caused by the deep rock crushing, formed a solid protective barrier for the top drive and the upper equipment, and significantly reduced the potential damage of the drill string vibration to the key equipment during the shallow drilling stage. This breakthrough design not only ensures the safety and stability of drilling operations, but also greatly improves the drilling efficiency and speed of the air hammer in the super-hard Emeishan basalt formation, injecting strong power into the efficient progress of the project. The successful test of "top drive protector" not only fills the gap in the field of technology in China, but also indicates that China's underbalanced drilling technology is moving towards a new stage of development, a safer, easier to operate and widely applicable future. The successful test of this product not only consolidates the leading position of Gaofeng Company in the industry, but also promotes the company to play a more important role in the technological progress of domestic oil and gas exploration and development and the enhancement of international competitiveness.
